Hector Ventura

Hector Ventura has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering and teaching fields. Hector is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Consensus Cloud Solutions, where they manage a team of developers and fosters a collaborative environment. Prior to this, they worked as a Java and Linux Teacher at Wyzant, where they taught and guided students in Java programming and Linux systems. Hector has also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at J2 Global and Greenlink Networks, where they played a vital role in implementing innovative solutions and leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, Hector has experience as a Software Engineering Professor at ITLA, where they instructed students in Java and PHP programming languages and provided practical insights from their industry experience. Hector also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Net Tech International SRL and as a Project Manager at Jadesoft. Furthermore, they have experience as a Unix Linux System Administrator Professor at Academia Código Libre Dominicano - Fundación Código Libre, where they taught courses on Linux system administration and handled integrations such as Active Directory to LDAP migration.

Hector Ventura received their education from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, where they obtained a degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including "Containers, K8s and Istio on IBM Cloud" and "IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service" from IBM in 2020, and certifications in MongoDB for DBAs, MongoDB for Developers, and MongoDB for Java Developers from MongoDB University in 2014.
