Herman Junge

Herman Junge has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Herman worked at Consensys from 2021 to present, starting as a Senior Security Engineer before being promoted to Lead Security Technical Manager and currently serving as a Principal Security Engineer. In these roles, they played a crucial part in the design, architecture, and organization of the MetaMask security team. Herman also provided strategic advice and guidance, managed incident response, and created documentation on security protocols. Prior to Consensys, they were a Co-Founder and architect of Infura from 2016 to 2020, where they deployed blockchain infrastructure and proposed innovative solutions for the distribution of Ethereum state. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree at Edinburgh Napier University from 2020 to 2021.

Herman Junge is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics at Edinburgh Napier University, expected to be completed in 2023.
