John Brennan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analytics, product management, and venture capital. As the Head of Data & Analytics Engineering at Consensys from January 2018 to July 2021, John managed multi-cloud infrastructure to provide insights and analytics, emphasizing user choice and privacy in web3 solutions. Additionally, John co-led the Coven VC DAO, pioneering one of the first decentralized venture capital funds. Prior experience includes serving as a Venture Partner at Indicator Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments, and holding senior roles at CAKE Corporation and BuzzTable, where John co-founded and led product strategies until acquisition by Sysco. John began his career as Co-Founder and CEO of OpenAction, successfully developing mapping software. John holds a B.S. in Computer Science with Honors from the University of Maryland.
