Chris Gordon

Chris Gordon is a seasoned professional in conservation and environmental impact, currently serving as the Managing Director and co-founder of Conservation Alpha since April 2018, where the focus is on transforming the conservation sector through accountability and high-level impact. Chris has held various roles, including Technical Advisor at NATURAL STATE, Chair of the Steering Committee for the Universal Rangers Support Alliance, and Kenya Country Director for the Zoological Society of London, where significant conservation programs were established. With a strong background in ecology, having worked at organizations such as the Cheetah Conservation Fund and The Nature Conservancy, Chris possesses extensive experience in project management and environmental research. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Zoology from the University of Oxford and a Short Course in Impact Investing from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
