Sofia Troya currently serves as the Manager of the Community-Led Solutions Partnership at Conservation International since November 2022. Previously, Sofia held roles such as Program Coordinator at Conservation International and Grant Analyst at Good Ground International. Sofia's experience also includes teaching Environmental Geology at the College of Charleston, interning with The Nature Conservancy's Global Climate Team and in Government Relations, and facilitating sustainability-related initiatives as a Climate Innovation Intern and Sustainability Literacy Ambassador at the College of Charleston. Sofia's earlier positions also include internship roles at Forest Trends Association and positions at the College of Charleston's Geology Department and Student Computing Support. Sofia holds a Master of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from the College of Charleston.
