Connor Burnes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Connor started their career as an Engineering Aide Seasonal at Monroe County Department of Environmental Services, Pure Waters, where they worked on the Inflow & Infiltration Team, learning about the Sanitary Sewer Collections System and techniques to identify and resolve stormwater issues.
Subsequently, Burnes worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Clark Patterson Lee, gaining experience in site design and utilizing AutoCAD extensively. Connor also learned about submittals, change orders, deficiency reports, and transmittals.
Burnes then pursued a Project Management Internship at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, assisting Project Engineers and Project Managers on a LEED project. Connor was responsible for organizing and compiling information related to environmental design and material credits.
Following this, Burnes joined Wegmans Food Markets as a Construction Intern. Here, they worked closely with Project Superintendents and Project Managers, assisting in small projects and handling contract writing and procurement processes.
Currently, Burnes is associated with Consigli Construction Co., Inc. Connor has held multiple roles within the company, starting as a Project Engineer and progressing to Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and currently Senior Project Manager. Their responsibilities include overseeing project execution, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful project completion.

Connor Burnes attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology. In 2011, they also obtained the OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification. Subsequently, in 2018, Connor obtained the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Additionally, they obtained the 2014 AGC NYS Future Construction Leaders certification from AGC NYS.
