Engineering Designer III at CONSOR Engineers

Catherine Bacon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Catherine joined CONSOR Engineers in 2023 as an Engineering Designer III. Prior to that, they worked for the City of Glenwood Springs from 2017 to 2023, firstly as a Water Treatment Operator A, and then as the Chief Wastewater Operator. In 2017, they briefly worked at the American Water Works Association as a Water Data Specialist. Before entering the industry, they gained experience at the University of Colorado Boulder in various roles. Catherine worked as a Green Labs Program Student Assistant from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on conservation efforts in campus research and teaching laboratories. In 2011, they were a Learning Assistant for PHYS 1140, helping professors and students with assignments and questions related to the physics of sound and music.

Catherine Bacon holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. In October 2017, they obtained the certification of Engineer-In-Training (CA) from The Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, and in September 2017, they obtained the certification of Engineering Intern (CO) from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
