Ciara Murphy Eit

Ciara Murphy, EIT has a diverse range of work experience. Ciara is currently employed as an Engineering Designer at CONSOR Engineers, where they began in August 2022. Prior to this, Ciara worked at Whooshh Innovations from October 2020 to July 2022 as a Project Design Engineer. In this role, they assisted sales by creating site concept drawings and conducting site feasibility research. Ciara also collaborated in fish passage project planning and installations, preparing detailed layout drawings and coordinating equipment installation. Additionally, they shadowed the project manager and handled tasks such as creating costed BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Ciara's work experience also includes an internship as an Engineering Intern at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission from July 2019 to October 2020. Ciara contributed to various engineering projects during this time. Prior to their internship, they gained experience as a Peer Educator and Front Desk Attendant at Santa Clara University from September 2016 to June 2019.

Furthermore, they completed an engineering internship at BKF Engineers from July 2018 to September 2018, where they gained valuable practical experience in the field.

Ciara Murphy, EIT obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University. Ciara attended the university from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as a Civil Engineer in Training from NCEES, obtained in June 2019, and as a LEED Green Associate from USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter, obtained in March 2018.
