Project Manager at CONSOR Engineers

Iris Lim has a diverse work experience in project management and construction. Iris began their career as an Engineering Intern at the City of Mountain View in June 2013, where they reviewed recycled water irrigation plans and analyzed water consumption data. Iris then worked as a Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer in the Water Conservation & Utilities Section, where they reviewed recycled water development plans and provided responses to inquiries about water conservation programs.

In November 2016, Iris joined the City and County of San Francisco as a Junior Engineer, working on the Bay Corridor Transmission and Distribution project. Iris inspected construction activities, coordinated with contractors, and ensured compliance with city procedures. Iris was later promoted to the role of Acting Associate Engineer/Assistant Engineer, where they supervised engineers and inspectors and administered project contracts for the Mission Bay Infrastructure Redevelopment Projects.

In 2019, Iris transitioned to CONSOR Engineers, where they worked as a Project Manager. Iris'sresponsibilities included administering and managing client's projects during the construction phase, coordinating with stakeholders, conducting progress meetings, and ensuring contract specifications and plans were followed. Iris also maintained construction documents, tracked project schedules, and provided quality assurance inspections. CPM Associates, Inc., the company Iris previously worked for, was acquired by CONSOR Engineers in 2022.

Iris Lim completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering at UC Irvine from 2009 to 2013. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Water Resources Engineering at San Jose State University from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Iris also obtained several certifications. In December 2016, they became a Professional Engineer - Civil through the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. Iris also obtained a Water Treatment Operator Grade T2 certification from the State Water Resources Control Board in June 2015, along with a Water Distribution Operator Grade D2 certification from the same institution in May 2015. Furthermore, in May 2017, they completed the Resident Engineers Academy offered by Caltrans. Lastly, they obtained the Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification from the US Army Corps of Engineers in March 2023.
