Nykell Hunter's work experience begins in 2017 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University's Sustainable Technologies Laboratory. From June 2017 to June 2019, they served in this role. In January 2020, Nykell joined the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Coastal Hydraulics Engineering Resilience Lab. They held this position until November 2022. Currently, Nykell works as an Engineering Designer at CONSOR Engineers, starting in October 2022.
Nykell Hunter completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ecological Engineering at Oregon State University from 2013 to 2019. Following that, Nykell pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Nykell obtained the Engineer In Training certification from NCEES in October 2019 and completed a certification in Learning AutoCAD from LinkedIn in June 2022.
