Rick Prieto

Rick has more than 20 years of experience in the civil, structural, and transportation engineering fields. He joined the firm in the Houston office in 1997. In 2005, he relocated to El Paso to open the firm’s branch office. Rick took on the challenge of opening the El Paso office and has never looked back. He’s appreciative that he has surrounded himself with quality people that have aided in the success of the El Paso office. For 13 years, Rick has managed all of the firm’s work with the City of El Paso. In addition to City projects, he has managed projects for the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority and TxDOT. While Rick’s expertise spans the full range of transportation infrastructure, he specializes in structural analysis and design.

During his career, he has managed and/or performed inspections of more than 10,000 bridges, and he has designed more than 75 bridges. Rick’s leadership over the past 13 years has grown the firm’s local branch to become the largest civil engineering consultant in the El Paso area. Rick is an avid classic car enthusiast. He has a 1966 Ford Mustang that he has restored back to life and enjoys cruising along in it along the back roads on weekends.
