Senior Engineer at CONSOR Engineers

Robert Ferguson has a strong background in engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Robert is currently working as a Senior Engineer at CONSOR Engineers since 2022. Prior to that, they held several positions at Quincy Engineering, Inc., starting as an Assistant Engineer in 2008, then progressing to Associate Engineer, and eventually becoming a Senior Engineer. At Quincy Engineering, their responsibilities included analyzing, designing, and preparing plans for bridges, retaining walls, and other transportation infrastructure in California and Oregon. Robert also served as a Project Engineer and Project Manager during their time there. Before joining Quincy Engineering, Robert worked as a Staff Engineer at Thom Hume Engineers, Inc., where they provided analysis and design for structural connections and systems for complex residences in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. Additionally, they conducted research and development to create innovative CAD tools for streamlining the plan preparation process.

Robert Ferguson obtained their H.S. Diploma from Oak Ridge High School in 2001. Robert then attended Folsom Lake College from 2002 to 2003, focusing on General Studies. From 2004 to 2006, Robert attended Cuesta College, although no degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In 2013, Robert also obtained a certification in Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges from the National Highway Institute.
