Sam Smith is the Levees Technical Principal at Consor Engineers, where they lead the development of a Levees Technical Practice and manage various dam and levee repair projects. Previously, Sam served as a Geotechnical Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they managed numerous flood risk management projects and played a critical role in nationwide missions, including temporary housing and roofing support in disaster areas. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Risk Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
