The mission of the Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) is to uplift and empower New York City workers through education, training, childcare, and job placement services. CWE serves as the workforce development arm of the NYC Central Labor Council, providing training, education, and child care services to 40 labor unions and their respective locals each year. CWE operates a network of 52 community partners across all five boroughs, providing a suite of vital services to prepare New Yorkers for the workforce.
