James Bourdeau

Jim Bourdeau is Constellation’s chief legal officer reporting to Bill Newlands, president and CEO. Jim is responsible for governance, government affairs, and company-wide legal functions. Jim is a member of Constellation Brands’ executive management committee.

Jim joined Constellation Brands in 2014 as senior vice president, general counsel corporate development, where he was involved in a number of activities related to the formation, financing and expansion of business operations; mergers and acquisitions; and venture financing.

Prior to joining Constellation Brands, Jim was an attorney at the law firm of Nixon Peabody LLP for 14 years, and he began his legal career at Phillips Lytle LLP in 1995. Before becoming a lawyer, Jim was an Applications Engineer for Tektronix, Inc.
