Michael Mann has extensive experience in the field of instrumentation and control, currently serving as an Instrument and Control Technician at Constellation Energy's R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant since January 1988. Mann's responsibilities include maintaining, calibrating, and instructing on various critical systems such as Reactor Protection and Nuclear Instruments, as well as holding positions in emergency response, including survey center manager. Prior to this role, Mann worked at Beckman Coulter from March 1987 to January 1988, focusing on the assembly and testing of blood analysis machines. Mann's career began in the US Navy, where from August 1978 to March 1987, responsibilities included operating and maintaining reactor controls on fast attack submarines as a Reactor Operator and serving as the leading petty officer for the reactor controls division. Mann completed high school at Iroquois High School, graduating with a diploma in 1978.
