Ty Schuring has significant experience in the naval nuclear field, serving in the US Navy from May 2022 to April 2025 as a NRMD Technical Expert and MMN1, 1st Class Petty Officer Nuclear Machinist's Mate, while also managing training programs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Prior experience includes serving as a Nuclear Machinist Mate aboard the USS George Washington (CVN-73) Aircraft Carrier from April 2018 to May 2022. Currently, Ty Schuring is a Nuclear Operations Instructor at Constellation, a role assumed in June 2025.
