James Eden

James Eden is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive sector. As Lead Engineer at Constellium since November 2020, James manages a cross-functional team delivering innovative Aluminum Automotive Structures, specializing in battery enclosure structures for high and low volume applications. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at Constellium, where responsibilities encompassed developing lightweight aluminum battery structures and leading CAD development. Prior to Constellium, James held positions at Jaguar Land Rover as SVO Interior Trim Lead Engineer and Graduate Engineer, gaining multifaceted engineering experience across special vehicle operations and component engineering. Additional experience includes working as an Undergraduate Engineer at Millbrook Proving Ground and a Sales Assistant at Matalan.
