Maxime Barra has extensive experience in the aluminum industry, currently serving as Casthouse Process and Quality Manager at Constellium since August 2011, after holding various key roles including Sheet Shop Process and Quality Manager and Process Leader Airware Casthouse. Prior to this, Maxime gained valuable experience as a Junior Engineer at the University of South Carolina, focusing on Friction Stir Welding for aerospace aluminum alloys from November 2009 to June 2011, and completed an Engineer Internship at Constellium in early 2009, where a significant Green Belt Project aimed at reducing soak time for aluminum sheet was undertaken. Initial experience included a position as Assistant Engineer at Bombardier Transportation in 2008. Maxime holds an Engineer's degree in Materials Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA, complemented by a foundational education in Classes Préparatoires from 2003 to 2006.
