Aroona Anderson

Aroona Anderson has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various roles and organizations. Aroona is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Construct Education since April 2022, and previously held the position of Head of HR from October 2021 to April 2022. Prior to their current role, Aroona worked at Pearson SA for six years, starting as a Human Resources Generalist from February 2015 to December 2017. Aroona then became the HR Generalist and Head of HR Operations from January 2018 to December 2018, and later served as the HR Business Partner from January 2019 to October 2021, where they provided strategic HR guidance to business leaders globally. Before joining Pearson SA, Aroona worked as an HR Manager at Educor Holdings from November 2011 to January 2015, where they managed the entire employee life-cycle and led HR initiatives across the company's national footprint. Additionally, they supported the company's branch in Windhoek, Namibia. Aroona started their career as an HR Officer at Blake and Associates from July 2009 to June 2011, and prior to that, they worked as an HR Administrator at Blake & Associates from February 2007 to June 2009. Overall, Aroona has a diverse range of HR experience, with a focus on driving team performance, employee engagement, and implementing innovative HR strategies.

Aroona Anderson completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Human Resources Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Aroona then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Labour Relations at the same university in 2016. Most recently, from 2018 to 2019, Aroona attended the University of Cape Town, where they earned a Master of Law (LLM) degree, specializing in Labour Law.
