For over 70 years, Constructive Playthings has been dedicated to early childhood education, providing high-quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate products. Founded in 1953 by Frances Gershon, a preschool teacher passionate about nurturing young learners, we have become a trusted resource for educators across the nation.

As part of our company's evolution, and under the continued leadership of our CEO, Seth Freiden, we are excited to focus exclusively on the Constructive Playthings brand, following the recent sale of the U.S. Toy party and novelty division, as well as its Commercial division. Our mission remains unchanged—providing innovative solutions and high-quality products for early childhood education.

Family-owned for three generations, we continue Frances’ legacy by offering durable furniture, innovative teacher resources, playground solutions, and educational toys developed by experts to meet national standards. Our eco-friendly products, marked by our green leaf badge, reflect our ongoing commitment to sustainability in education.

Constructive Playthings remains your trusted partner in shaping the minds of the next generation. Thank you for choosing us to inspire and support educators with the highest quality materials for classrooms, playgrounds, and beyond.
