Tomas Pllaha

Tomas Pllaha has worked in various roles since 2012. Tomas began as a Teaching Assistant in Foundation Mathematics and Python at Jacobs University Bremen in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an IT Intern at Raiffeisen Bank Albania, a Software Engineering Intern (remote) at SpeakSet, and an Android Developer at MainTool. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer at YouProgram Software Solutions (YPSS) where they designed and built new functionalities into the core system in C++. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cliqz GmbH and then as Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager at Constructor. In their role as Software Engineer at Constructor, they worked on back-end systems and infrastructure, as well as improvements and tweaks in the autocomplete and search algorithm, using Python, Cython, and Amazon Web Services.

Tomas Pllaha attended Jacobs University Bremen from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
