Aleksei Tarasov

Aleksei Tarasov is a Senior Software Engineer with a diverse work history. Aleksei is currently working at SIT Alemira as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at VK, one of the largest classifieds platforms in Russia, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and tech lead in the backend platform team. At VK, they developed basic SLOs for core services, implemented monitoring for SLOs and other service indicators, supervised and mentored team members, and drove the process of implementing federated GraphQL. Aleksei also played a key role in designing architecture, writing stable and maintainable code, providing expertise for solutions, and solving complex technological issues.

Before joining VK, Aleksei worked at card4truck as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they were self-employed and worked as a Software Engineer. Aleksei also worked as a Presales Engineer at ALP Group, a service company that provides accounting automation, ERP system implementation, and IT outsourcing services. At ALP Group, they organized pre-sales activities for ERP systems implementation projects, supported processes of finding solutions for clients, and created unique selling propositions.

Aleksei also gained experience at Gazprom Neft as a Business Applications Development Manager and at ALP Group as a Project Manager. These roles further enhanced their expertise in project management and business applications development.

Aleksei Tarasov completed their education from 2001 to 2006 at Khabarovsk State Technical University, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Information Technology.
