Ilia Shimchik

Ilia Shimchik is currently the Team Principal at Constructor Racing, leading efforts in autonomous mobility within high-speed racing and product development. Ilia has driven collaborations with automotive OEMs, research institutions, and government agencies, showcasing a passion for robotics and engineering best practices. Previously, as Chief Robotics Officer at REMY Robotics, Ilia focused on intelligent robotic kitchen systems and earned accolades in various competitive environments, including becoming Season Beta Champions in the Roborace Championship. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Ilia also founded the Atlas Racing Team, which achieved notable success in the Didi–Udacity Self-Driving Car Challenge.
