David Birch is a Principal at 15Mb Ltd. since July 2017, providing board-level advice on digital financial services, and serves as an Advisor to the Board at OneID® and an Advisory Board Member for The Deepfake Summit. As a member of the Payments Advisory Board at HM Revenue & Customs since June 2023 and a Venture Partner at 1414 Ventures since December 2020, Birch focuses on early-stage digital identity investments. Birch, a Global Ambassador for Consult Hyperion since June 1986, also holds roles as Non-Executive Chairman at DIGISEQ Limited and Senior Research Fellow at King's College London's Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance. Additionally, Birch contributes as a Digital Fellow at DIGITLabUK and lectures on digital financial services at the Møller Institute. Birch graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Southampton between 1977 and 1980.
