Daniela Nuñez

Associate Director, Social Media at Consumer Reports

Daniela Nuñez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 as an Outreach Coordinator for Save Our Springs Alliance where they planned campaign events and managed community information tables. In 2005, they also worked as a Constituent Communications Intern for the Office of U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett, where they communicated with constituents and prepared legislative summaries. From 2007 to 2016, Daniela worked for Consumers Union, initially as a Grassroots Organizer and later as a Social Media Program Manager, managing social media communications and coordinating activists for various campaigns. Since April 2021, they have been working as an Associate Director of Social Media at Consumer Reports, leading social media strategy and guiding content development.

Daniela Nuñez obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English from the University of Notre Dame, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Daniela later attended Austin Community College from 2014 to 2015, where they completed coursework in Social Media Communications. In addition to their formal education, Daniela has obtained several certifications, including "Developing Leadership Presence" and "Coaching Your Team to Think and Act Strategically" from LinkedIn, as well as "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: US Managers Edition V5" and "Unconscious Bias V3.1" from Traliant.
