Heath Grayson

Chief Privacy Officer, Deputy General Counsel at Consumer Reports

Heath Grayson has held several roles throughout their work experience. From 2000 to 2012, they were the Vice President and Senior Counsel at Vertrue LLC. In 2012, they became the General Counsel at Quality Resources, Inc., a position they held until 2013. Since 2014, they have been working for Consumer Reports, starting as an Associate General Counsel from March 2014 to December 2016, then becoming the Deputy General Counsel from December 2016 to January 2019, and ultimately serving as the Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy General Counsel starting from January 2019.

Heath Grayson attended Dartmouth College from 1980 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Afterward, from 1987 to 1990, they attended Boston University School of Law and earned their JD degree. In addition to their formal education, Heath Grayson also holds several certifications in the field of information privacy from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, including Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
