Dror Sharon has had a diverse range of work experiences over the years. Dror began their career as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Co in 2005. Following that, they worked at OmniGuide, Inc. where they held roles as Director of Marketing and Sales Support, and later as Manager of Marketing and Business Development. From there, they joined Gemini Israel Funds as an Associate, supporting seed and early stage Venture Capital investments. In 2009, Dror joined ColorChip as VP of Business Development, where they helped design and manufacture optical sub-systems and components. In 2011, they co-founded Consumer Physics, Inc. (SCiO), a connected device company, and served as the CEO until 2019. During this time, they led the development and launch of a breakthrough product in the field of NIR micro-spectroscopy. In 2015, they became a Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum. Dror then went on to work as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Intel Corporation, where they helped incubate and grow internal deep-tech ventures. Additionally, they served as the General Manager of Inteon, Intel's first Machine Programming software development platform. Concurrently, they also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at OmniBridge, mentoring a founder and team working on real-time translation between American Sign Language and spoken English. Overall, Dror's work experience showcases their expertise in deep tech, entrepreneurship, leadership, and business development.

Dror Sharon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997. During the same period, they also studied at the University of Maryland, focusing on Electrical Engineering. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Dror pursued an MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specifically at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
