Danielle MacKey

Danielle Mackey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement, communications, and marketing. Currently serving as the Principal Community Engagement Manager at Consumers Energy since May 2018, Danielle has previously held roles including Communications Advisor II and Marketing Events Outreach Specialist within the same organization. Earlier experience includes a position as a Public Relations Specialist at Hoyden Creative Group and an internship with the City of Adrian, MI. Danielle also contributed to United Methodist Retirement Communities as a Marketing Assistant and worked as a Training Coordinator at Community Normalization Homes. An internship coordinator for Senator Mark Schauer further enriched Danielle's diverse background. Danielle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Siena Heights University and has education from Jackson College.
