Ken Bindschatel, CUSP, has over three decades of experience in the energy sector, primarily at Consumers Energy since November 1992. Currently serving as Substation Maintenance Manager and co-chair of the Safety Culture Team, Ken focuses on enhancing safety practices within the organization. Previous roles include Electric Construction Manager for both the North and West regions, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing high and low voltage construction projects. Early career positions included managing electric distribution operations and various engineering roles, complemented by military service in the US Navy as an Aviation Electricians Mate, Petty Officer 3rd Class. Ken holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
