Jay King has extensive experience in revenue operations and digital campaign management. From 2020 to the present, they served as the Senior Director of Revenue Operations at GOBankingRates. Prior to that, Jay held various roles at Cox Media Group. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Director of Digital Campaign Operations, responsible for managing digital ad campaigns across multiple media properties. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Director of Digital Revenue Development, supporting strategic digital sales initiatives. From 2014 to 2015, Jay was the Director of Digital Campaign Services, overseeing the implementation of digital media campaigns across television, radio, and newspaper properties. Jay also held the position of Senior Director of Product and Strategy from 2013 to 2014, working closely with Cox newspapers in digital channels and vendor relations. Prior to joining Cox Media Group, Jay worked as the Senior Director of Sales Operations from 2010 to 2013, overseeing sales functions for various media platforms. Jay also served as the Director of New Business Development from 2000 to 2009, leading the development and execution of digital and regional sales strategies.

Jay King attended Bowling Green State University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Their field of study included Procurement Materials Management and International Business. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Toledo from 1991 to 1993 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their focus during their MBA program was in Marketing.
