Amy Oding

Amy Oding serves as the Head of Strategy and Transformation at Contact Energy Ltd, responsible for leading technology strategy development and overseeing investment portfolio management. In addition, Amy is an Advisory Board Member for the University of Auckland's Engineering School, focusing on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, as well as Computer and Software Engineering. As a Director at Airplan Limited, Amy provides consulting on technology strategy, planning, and program delivery. Previous roles include managing digital and technology strategy at Kiwibank and leading strategic planning at One New Zealand, where technology roadmaps were developed with a focus on AI, data, and automation. With an extensive background at Vodafone in various operational and planning roles, including operations support and network design, Amy combines engineering expertise with strategic leadership. Amy holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Auckland and has furthered education at MIT Sloan Executive Education and the Institute for Strategic Leadership.
