Rob Liu

Rob Liu is the current CEO at ContactOut, a recruitment intelligence tool backed with best in class contact data. Rob was previously the Co-CEO at ContactOut and the founder of deals extra. Prior to that, they were a social media and marketing strategist at Groupon Australia.

Liu has always been driven by the need to solve problems and create value. Rob was motivated to start ContactOut when they saw inefficiencies in the recruiting process. Rob wanted to create a tool that would help recruiters find deep insights on their talent pool and source candidates faster.

Under Liu's leadership, ContactOut has become one of the most popular recruitment tools used by more than 350,000 users, including recruiters at more than 78% of the Fortune 500. The company has over 1.2B unique data assets and "personal emails" for over 75% of the people in the western world. ContactOut also has the highest email find rate in the industry with 2x more emails than other providers.

Liu is also responsible for expanding ContactOut's solution portfolio to include Talent Analytics, Talent Discovery, Sourcing Acceleration and continued product innovation to expand into new markets and verticals.

Rob Liu studied computer science and law at UNSW before dropping out to pursue a career in business. Rob is a Scientia Scholar, which is a prestigious title given to the top 0.1% of their cohort. Rob has also completed the Landmark Forum and Advance Course, which are programs designed to help individuals reach their personal and professional potential. Rob Liu has an ATAR of 99.90 from James Ruse Agricultural High School, and they also attended North Sydney Boys High School.
