The CBS Alliance was formed in November 2016. It is a coalition of Container Based Sanitation practitioners around the world with extensive experience in developing and providing CBS services.

The members of the CBSA are Clean Team (Ghana), Loowatt (Madagascar), Sanergy (Kenya), Sanima (Peru), Sanivation (Kenya), SOIL (Haiti) and The Cycle (India). 
Affiliate members are Assauvet (Cameroon), Mosan (Guatemala) and Sanitation Ambassadors (South Africa), Circular Revolution (UK), ECOLatrine (South Africa) and Institut de Coopération Internationale (ICI).
