Matthew Baxley

Matthew Baxley is a Manufacturing Engineer at Contec, Inc. since July 2023, with previous experience as an Industrial Engineer at International Vitamin Corporation, where initiatives for continuous improvement in efficiency and quality were developed using methodologies such as Kaizen and Six Sigma. As Co-Owner and Director of Operations at Mount Gilead Granola, Matthew ensured high-quality production and packaging, maintained customer relationships, and created an inventory management system. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Packaging Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology and Human Nutrition, both from Clemson University. Matthew has also held various positions, including roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and R&D Process Engineering Co-Op, contributing to quality control processes and product development.
