Young Choi, PhD, currently serves as the CEO of CONTEC Space Optics, where they lead efforts in advancing high-resolution imaging technologies for earth observation. Previously, Young held the position of CEO/CTO at Meteo.Space, focusing on environmental sustainability through innovation. Young's career includes significant roles such as Chief Scientist and Program Manager at SATRECI, as well as a Research Engineer for KOMPSAT-1 at Daewoo Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. Young earned a PhD in Space Plasma Physics from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
