Matthias Michielsen has over 25 years of experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as an E&I Project Engineer at Contec since June 2002. Responsibilities include instrumentation and electrical engineering and design, along with a focus on process safety, machine safety, and industrial automation utilizing PLC, SCADA, ESD, and DCS systems. Matthias holds certifications as an Advanced Project Manager (VIK) and as a FS Engineer from TUV Rheinland. Prior experience includes an engineering role at DEME Environmental Contractors DECnv from January 1997 to May 2002 and serving as an E&I technician at Controlec from July 1996 to January 1997. Matthias Michielsen obtained a degree in Electro Mechanical Measurement and Control Technology from KdG Antwerpen between 1993 and 1996.
