Michael Brown

Michael Brown is an experienced and accomplished leader working with multiple Federal and Commercial clients providing process improvement, defining digital transformation strategy, and software development and implementation.

Prior to Contegix, Michael founded Ascend Integrated in 2013 providing world class professional services and tool implementation to Federal clients. The firm successfully grew to thirty employees and contractors. Ascend was acquired by Contegix in 2021, and continues to operate with Michael being the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, and President of Ascend.

Michael holds a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University and two BA’s in Information Systems and European History from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a board member for the Cancer Research Institute, and also co-founded a movie production company.
