John Zagula

John Zagula is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership and strategic development across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director at Symend since November 2022, John oversees strategic development, technology positioning, and executive leadership. John has been an advisor and board director for various organizations since January 2018, while also contributing as an adjunct instructor at the University of Washington. As Managing Director and Founder of Ignition Capital since January 2008, John has a strong background in private equity and venture capital. Past roles include Managing Director at Qiming Venture Partners and IGNITION PARTNERS, Trustee at The Northwest School, and Board Member at 826 Seattle. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, along with degrees from Harvard University, the University of Cologne, and Marquette University.
