Fred Ball

Fred Ball is a seasoned executive and board member with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as a board member for Alchemer and Contentful since June 2022 and February 2021, respectively, Ball has held similar positions at Advanced Energy since August 2008, Intercom until December 2023, and FirstMark Horizon Acquisition Corporation from October 2020 to March 2022. Previous board roles include Engagio prior to its acquisition by Demandbase and SendGrid before its acquisition by Twilio, as well as ESI until January 2019. Ball also contributed to Marketo as EVP and Chief Administrative Officer and CFO from May 2011 to September 2016 and held the CFO position at Webroot Software from June 2008 to June 2011. Fred Ball earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech between 1980 and 1984.
