Helmut Stapel

Helmut Stapel has a long and varied work experience. Helmut began their career in 2011 at Deutschlandfunk as an Author/Speaker. In 2015, they moved to Bayerischer Rundfunk as a Speaker/Author. In 2016, they joined the University of Bremen as a Lecturer for Storytelling, Videographics & Travelwriting, a Lecturer for ethics and journalism, a Dozent für Reisejournalismus/Lecturer for Travel Journalism, a Dozent für Kulturmanagement/Lecturer for Cultural Management, and a Dozent für Journalismus/Lecturer for Journalism. Helmut also joined Die ZEIT as a Writer/Author that same year. In 2017, they moved to Hochschule Bremen as a Lecturer Digital Marketing and Social Media strategies International Business School, a University Lecturer for Traveljournalism & PR, and a University Teacher for Presentation and Communication. In 2019, they joined Gruner + Jahr GmbH as an Editor/Redakteur - GEO, Contently as an SEO Texter & Photographer, Hochschule Bremerhaven as a Lecturer for Business Communication - Dozent für Business Communication, and University of Bremerhaven - Hochschule Bremerhaven as a Lecturer for Travel journalism and PR - Dozent für Reisejournalismus und PR. In 2021, they moved to University of Cancun/Mexiko as a University Lecturer for PR & Marketing.

Helmut Stapel attended FernUniversität in Hagen from 2022 to 2025, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Medienwissenschaften und Medienpsychologie.
