Content Operations Manager at ContentMX

Erin Tackney has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Erin started their career as a Development Associate at SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 2003. After that, they worked at Education Development Center as a Research and Technology Assistant from 2005 to 2012, where they provided research, writing, web support, and administrative services for different programs. Erin then became a Technology Specialist at Education Development Center from 2012 to 2014, where they facilitated collaboration between developers and SMEs to develop resource websites.

In 2014, Erin joined Facing History and Ourselves as a Digital Content Producer, initially focusing on content for non-educator audiences. Erin prepared and optimized content for various platforms, maintained editorial calendars, and trained staff on workflow processes. Later, they transitioned to the Digital Operations team at Facing History and Ourselves and took on the role of a Digital Content Producer. Erin sourced and created digital products for all audiences, conducted analysis and audits, and built new donation form templates. Erin also played a key role in digitizing Facing History's publication "Holocaust and Human Behavior" into a digital book experience. Erin continued in this role until 2022.

Currently, Erin is working as a Content Operations Manager at ContentMX, starting in 2022.

Erin Tackney attended Santa Clara University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing. Additionally, during this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the same institution.
