Pravesh Kara has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Pravesh has held positions in various companies, including Advania UK, Content+Cloud, Perspective Risk Ltd, Selex Communications, Verizon Business, EDS, and Netsec.

At Advania UK, Pravesh is currently working as a Product Director - Security & Compliance, responsible for developing and delivering innovative cyber services.

Before joining Advania UK, they worked at Content+Cloud as a Product Director Security and Compliance. In this role, they focused on analyzing client needs and advancements in technology to develop and deliver innovative cyber services. Pravesh also served as the Director of Cyber Security, managing cyber teams and services and integrating Perspective Risk services into Content+Cloud Managed Services.

Prior to Content+Cloud, Pravesh was a Founding Director and Managing Consultant at Perspective Risk Ltd where they provided in-depth security assessments, risk management, and compliance solutions to clients across multiple sectors. Pravesh also worked as a Principal Security Consultant at Selex Communications and as a Security Consultant at Verizon Business, EDS, and Netsec.

Throughout their career, Pravesh has demonstrated expertise in penetration testing, security consultancy, and risk analysis, working with clients ranging from large banks to government organizations.

Pravesh Kara earned a BSc in Software Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1995 to 1999. In 2013, they completed the BSI ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification from the British Standards Institute. Additionally, Pravesh holds certifications including NLP Practitioner from ABNLP in 2012, CREST Certified Tester from CREST in 2010, and CISSP from ISC2 in 2009.
