Baskar Arasu

Baskar Arasu has over 14 years of experience in IT security. Baskar began their career in 2006 as a Senior Engineer at GENPACT LLC, where they worked in the Security Operations Center. In 2008, they moved to Mphasis as a Senior Principle Infrastructure Engineer - Global Network & Security. In 2011, they joined eviCore healthcare as a Senior Manager Information Security, where they successfully implemented HITRUST Common Security Framework and lead the project to obtain HITRUST certification. Baskar also designed and built a high performing security operations center. Currently, they are working as a Senior Director, IT Security at Contessa Health since 2020.

Baskar Arasu's education history includes a Master of Network Computing from Monash University, obtained between 2004 and 2005, with a focus on Network & Information Security. Baskar also holds a Bachelore of Engineering from the University of Madras, obtained between 1999 and 2003, with a focus on Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified Information Security Manager from ISACA in April 2016, a Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA in July 2013, as well as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), ITIL V3, and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
