David Samuel

David Samuel has a long and varied work experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning over 35 years. David began their career in 1984 as a Telecom Engineer Special Faults Investigations at British Telecommunications PLC. In 1992, they moved to Mitel Telecom Ltd as a Technical Marketing Specialist, where they were responsible for business development for EMEA, defining solutions requirements, driving solutions to market, building and communicating product roadmaps, and providing technical support to 3rd party software developers.

In 1998, they joined idesk PLC as Director of New Products and Services, where they built a division to design and build a centrally hosted Web based, online customer transaction support platform. In 2000, they moved to Eyretel as Global Product Management, managing the international product team, conducting market requirements and analytics, and program managing software projects.

From 2002 to 2005, David Samuel worked at Verint Systems and Regus as Director of Product Marketing and Telecoms Product Manager, respectively. In 2007, they joined Aculab as Managing Director & CEO, and later as Director, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services and Support, and Head of Sales, EMEAA. Finally, in 2019, they began their current role as Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President - Product Management and Strategy at Contexta360.
