Monika Wißmann

Monika Wißmann has worked for several companies in various roles since 2013. Monika began their career as a Promotion for Nikon in 2013. Monika then moved on to become an Assistent for Tropeninstitut in 2015. In 2018, they took on the role of Application Engineer for Nagarro. In 2019, they returned to VRVis Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung Forschungs-GmbH as a Research And Development Engineer. Monika is currently working as a Frontend Developer for contextflow since 2022.

Monika Wißmann has a diverse education history. Monika obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Biologie, allgemein from the University of Vienna between 2008 and 2012. Monika then obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Medizinische Informatik from the Technische Universität Wien between 2015 and 2019. During this time they also obtained a certification from Udemy in R Programming A-Z™: R For Data Science With Real Exercises! in March 2018 and a certification from ICAgile in ICAgile Certified Professional in October 2019. Monika then obtained a Master of Science - MS in Wildtierökologie und Wildtiermanagement from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) between 2012 and 2021. During this time they also obtained a Best Student Paper Award from IEEE Women in Engineering in May 2020. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science - MS in Software Engineering and Internet Computing from the Technische Universität Wien between 2019 and 2021.
