Shabab Bazrafkan

Shabab Bazrafkan is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at contextflow since November 2024, previously serving as Engineering Manager and Lead Machine Learning Engineer at blackshark.ai from September 2020 to November 2024. Prior to this, Shabab held positions as Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Computer Vision & Machine Learning Software Engineer within the same company. Between October 2018 and September 2020, Shabab was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Antwerp, focusing on Deep Learning for X-ray Computed Tomography in collaboration with Agfa. Shabab earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Galway in 2018, a Master of Science in Communication Engineering with a focus on medical image processing from Shiraz University of Technology in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Urmia University in 2011.
