Verónica Mandelbaum has worked in various roles since 2005. Verónica began as Purchasing Manager at Koruya, where they were responsible for the purchasing team, making orders for 5 commercial locations, negotiating with suppliers, and generating reports for management. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Researcher and Consultant at FOVISEE, conducting field work, systematizing and analyzing information, and generating reports for public policies. From 2012 to 2016, they were also a Researcher and Assistant Professor at the Visual Anthropology Team at the University of Buenos Aires, researching visual culture, images production and behavior towards new technologies, and being part of the professors board for the course “Anthropology of Visual Culture”. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Aerolab Digital, a UX/UI web design and development agency. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as Senior Project Manager at Ylly, a digital agency, managing between 4 to 6 simultaneous UX/UI design and development projects. Currently, they are Operations Manager & Data Lead at contextflow, a healthcare startup focused on improving radiologists daily workflow by delivering a machine learning (AI) based application that supports professionals in their clinical decisions.
Verónica Mandelbaum obtained their Licenciatura in Ciencias Antropológicas from the University of Buenos Aires. In 2013, they were awarded a one-year scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Anthopology, Arts & Design at Université Paris 8. In 2017, they obtained a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in October. In 2019, they received a Google Analytics certification from Google.
