Dan Harple

Dan Harple has held a number of positions in the tech industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they were the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of GeoSolutions, B.V./GeoSolutions Holdings, N.V. and a Member of the Board of Governors at the International School of Amsterdam. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Founder and CEO of Context Labs BV, an Entrepreneur in Residence and Sloan Fellow at MIT, and a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Berklee College of Music. In 2014, they were the Managing Director (Interim) of ID3 and in 2016, they co-founded the Open Music Initiative. In 2018, they became the Chairman and Co-founder of the Trusted Climate Data Initiative and the Chairman and Founder of Stichting Nexuslabs Foundation.

Dan Harple received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 1982, and attended Marlboro College from 1977 to 1981, where they studied Liberal Arts. Dan also holds a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they were a Sloan Fellow.
