Dawit Gm

Dawit GM currently serves as the Director of Engineering for Context Labs Energy since June 2022 and has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Houston Community College since January 2007, specializing in computer science topics such as Java, RESTful Web Services, and C++. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Director of Engineering at CorEvitas, LLC (2017-2022) and Principal Software Engineer at MD Anderson Cancer Center (2006-2017), where Dawit led software engineering initiatives in research information systems. Dawit also held adjunct faculty positions at the University of Houston (2013-2014) and worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Gexa Energy (2005-2006) and NextiraOne (2001-2005). Notably, Dawit contributed to NASA projects at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer from 1996 to 2001. Educational credentials include a BS in Computer Science and two MS degrees—one in Computer Science and another in Biomedical Informatics—along with a specialization certificate in Data Science from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
